Abstract

Since February 24, 2022, many settlements on the territory of Ukraine have been destroyed due to the war started by the Russian Federation. Russian troops are shelling key infrastructure facilities, carrying out massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, rocket launchers and ballistic missiles, which leads to the destruction and destruction of buildings, structures and other objects on the earth’s surface. The significant destruction of settlements and the death of people leads to the question of whether it is possible to rebuild the destroyed quarters or whether some territories should be set aside for monuments and squares in memory of the dead... There is a proposal regarding the selection of land plots for the development of settlements. Destroyed and damaged settlements as a result of military operations have a number of problems, requiring analysis, evaluation and implementation of new ideas and solutions
