Abstract. In the context of Ukraine's European integration, modernizing urban land use is critically important. It requires forming an effective state management system capable of implementing systematic decisions to meet EU and NATO requirements. Organizing rational land use and protection is key, especially considering different forms of land ownership. Land use environmentalization should focus on creating environmentally safe zones and recreational areas. It is necessary to improve economic management tools such as land zoning and land use taxation. Assessing the ecological and economic state of the land becomes an essential aspect of effective management.
