Abstract
Abstract. The article examines the features of using optical and radar satellite imagery for monitoring arable land, detecting land use changes, and assessing the condition of agricultural areas. Special attention is given to the use of radar satellites, such as Sentinel-1, which provide effective monitoring regardless of weather conditions.
