Abstract

Abstract. This thesis explores the utilization of cartographic techniques for identifying and evaluating erosion phenomena in Ukrainian territories. Employing remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), erosion patterns are mapped and analyzed across diverse landscapes. Through detailed examination, the research aims to enhance understanding of erosion dynamics, pinpoint vulnerable areas, and propose targeted conservation strategies. The findings offer valuable insights for policymakers, land managers, and environmental scientists, facilitating informed decision-making for sustainable land use and preservation efforts in Ukraine.
