Abstract. The text highlights the problems of spatial identification of territorial community boundaries in connection with the reform of the administrative-territorial structure in Ukraine. The problems arose when the Codifier of Administrative and Territorial Units and Territories of Territorial Communities was introduced, the codes of which are harmonized with the international standard ISO 3166-2, but these codes are not indicated in the cadastral numbers of land plots, since the cadastral numbers of land plots contain the number of the cadastral zone (a twelve-digit number that contains part of the outdated Classifier of Objects of the Administrative and Territorial Structure of Ukraine). This discrepancy causes a number of managerial, economic, fiscal and other problems.
