В статті представлена теза доповіді учасника V Міжнар. наук.-практ. конф. «Формування сталого землекористування: проблеми та перспективи» 19 грудня 2024 р. м. Київ.
The essence of the term “land reclamation,” its origins, legal significance, and modern interpretations in both national and international contexts are examined. An analysis of Ukrainian legal and regulatory acts, as well as international documents, has been conducted. Differences in the definitions of bioreclamation, technical reclamation, and other approaches proposed in scientific and legal literature are highlighted. Special attention is given to gaps in legislation regarding the reclamation of land damaged by military actions and the need to adapt terminology to contemporary challenges.
