Abstract

The essential features of natural assets as objects of ownership, evaluation, accounting, management, investment and economic activity are revealed. The system features of natural resource assets are characterized, including legal status, economic and ecological value, economic return, ownership rights to the resource and to income, and asset management rights in the spatial economic system. There are formulated, characterized and detailed system characteristics that are inherent in the asset, and which must be mandatory for natural resources so that they become effective assets of the territorial economy, Land assets are characterized as tools of spatial development.
