Abstract

Roman private law is of great historical significance not only as the law of one of the largest, albeit ancient, states in the world, but also represents a model of high achievement in the field of legal technique: the accuracy and clarity of definitions, logicality and consistency of legal thought, combined with the vitality and clarity of conclusions, testify to the high professionalism and skill of Roman lawyers who played a huge role in the development of legal thought and legal thinking. Roman private law currently represents the basis of the social structure of European and world civilization, basic concepts and concepts, and Latin terminology is actively used in international circulation, conventions, and diplomatic protocol.
