Abstract

The provisions regarding the economics of military degradation of soils and lands have been further developed, in particular, in the part of methodological basis for determining damage caused to land and soils as a result of armed aggression and hostilities during martial law. The main areas of economics of military soil and land degradation include the following: economic assessment of damage and losses from mechanical, physical, chemical, physico-chemical, biological degradation and other areas of influence on soils and land plots; comprehensive economic assessment of damage and losses caused to soils and lands; economic substantiation of sustainable post-war land restoration, reclamation measures for soil restoration.
